MRI MAGNETS - FMU-MRI
The
FMU-1200 is a state-of-the-art, computer-controlled 1H NMR
based mapping system for the analysis of inhomogeneities in NMR magnets.
The
FMU-1200 provides an easy and fast method for automated convergence of
super-conducting and room temperature shims, a mandatory requirement for
enhanced spectral quality in advanced NMR applications.
It
also provides efficient magnet qualification, staging, evaluation of
magnet drift and design and evaluation of ferromagnetic shimming.
At
the heart of the FMU-1200 is a heli-cylindrical probe manipulator,
designed for single sample operation. The system acquires and analyzes
data for axial and radial components in about 8 minutes.
The
single probe head with variable operating frequency provides flexibility,
reduces the relative cost of the system and saves time and labor spent on
change and calibration of probes.
