HISTORY

Resonance Research has a track of success in introducing break-through new technologies that modify the industry standards.

RRI was started in 1987 with the goal of developing, manufacturing, and marketing proprietary nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) instruments for pharmaceutical, clinical, and analytical laboratory systems.

The Company was successful in developing high performance instrumentation which has been accepted by top manufacturers for OEM distribution. The Company has obtained four U.S. patents and developed proprietary methods critical for applications of NMR across a broad range of industrial and research uses.

In 1995 Resonance Research  launched a number of advanced performance products for MRI applications with equally successful results.

RRI's R&D team has developed a unique expertise in magnetics for MRI and NMR applications and aims to bring high performance products to medical, pharmaceutical and research organizations.

1987

First in matrix shims for spectroscopy. Changed the architecture of probes and established new performance standards for NMR systems

1987

Magnetic field mapping units (FMU-800) changed the staging and evaluation of NMR and MRI magnets

1995

First to launch high bandwidth shim power supplies, which changed performance expectations of shim power supplies

1998

Single-passTM ferroshiming changed the performance standards of ferroshims

2000

First successful ferroshimming of human heads

2001

10A high bandwidth shim power supplies-designed for advanced and developing MRI techniques. Presently being installed in most advanced imaging systems, including 7T whole body magnets.

2001

Successful shimming and mapping of the first whole body 7T MRI magnet

2002

Successful implementation of high strength shims at 11.7 T /300 mm. Fully Z0 decoupled Z2 shim coil.

2003

BorgshimTM shimming technology - a break-through in shimming speed and control

2003

Design of the 1.5T super conducting MRI magnet to operate in a space station at zero gravity
